The Difference Between Natural & Organic?
This is a question we get asked a lot – so we thought to provide you with our simplest answer.
An apple or carrot is natural and has not been man-made or synthesized. However, in the growing process it may have been sprayed with chemicals to keep off bugs and fed with chemical fertilisers to increase yield.
An organic apple or carrot simply does not have chemicals sprayed on it, and the soil it is grown in has not been polluted with chemical fertilisers
Yes, it is more expensive to grow the organic way – but chemical avoidance in our products is important as we begin to understand how the build-up of these toxins affects our bodies. Using organic means a better planet. It means higher levels of animal welfare, no GMO, lower levels of pesticides, no manufactured herbicides or artificial fertilisers and more environmentally sustainable management of the land and natural environment – this means not just more bees but more wildlife.
