Purely Natural Skincare for Acne - Tips

The important thing is to avoid washing your face with your fingers as you might have bacteria under your nails that can spread to your face, and you get limited exfoliation. So, along with our Purifying Cleanser, we recommend using a cleansing face brush.  They are fantastic, but If you do not wish to invest in a cleansing brush, then we advise cleansing with cotton pads.

Diet is important too.  Probiotics help.  Ensure to have leafy green vegetables, plenty of fruit and ‘clean’ proteins such as fish, walnuts and flaxseed. Increase on Omega 3 proteins and avoid Omega 6.

Avoid cow’s milk, sugar, fast food and high-glycemic food types. High-glycemic food  which break down quickly in the body, triggering an insulin spike and raising blood sugar levels. They trigger hormonal fluctuations and inflammation - both of which encourage acne. Choose low glycemic-index foods instead, like vegetables, whole grains, sweet potatoes, and most fruits.

For adult acne - retinol is highly recommended such as our Rejuvenating Serum and / or our Acne Gift Pack.

Does It Work? Yes!
