All about the Eyes
The skin around the eyes is at least 10 times thinner than the skin on the rest of the face so the eye care you choose is vitally important. It is the first area to show signs of ageing.
It is lacking in sebaceous glands and collagen and elastin fibres.
This delicate eye area is under the strain of 22 muscles in perpetual motion and 10,000 blinks per day. This is why the eye contour is the first area to show signs of ageing. Fine and deep wrinkles and traces of tiredness can thus appear prematurely.
As with all skin care, the first step in looking after this eye area is effective but gentle cleansing. Make sure all eye make up is removed each night. Our natural eye make up remover is very gentle as is our detoxifying cleanser.
We have a wonderful Cooling Eye Gel with Aloe Vera for irritated eyes and our famous Organic Firming Eye Cream with Eyebright is effective at treating puffiness, dark circles, lines and, as its name suggests, also firms the surrounding eye contour.
Apply by putting a small amount of the gel or cream on the bony part of the upper cheekbone and under the brow-bone. Then massage delicately from the inside to the outside of the eye at the cheekbone and then up and around in a circle to the brow-bone area until the product is fully absorbed.
